(Creativity) October 15, 2010. Homecoming Parade. 30 mins.
The homecoming parade was originally supposed to be composed of all of the IB kids [including both juniors & seniors], but many students didn't end up attending or helping out, so we ended up with a total of six girls by the end out of at least 30. Though various IBers could not help out for legitimate reasons, there were many who just chose not to go last minute without warning the rest of us. For those of us who did follow through with the parade, it was a fun experience. Not only did it display our commitment to being a part of IB and our dedication.I learned that keeping your word is a major deal, especially when part of a team effort; it really ups your honor when you do! As for the poster we made, it was a real hit amongst the crowd and we were proud to strut it with its humorous message.
